Live Anywhere You Want
Cross border digital real estate investment platform. Buy and sell luxury and vacation properties around the world.
My Role: As a Lead UX /UI Designer, I led user research, product strategy, and interface design throughout the design lifecycle. I facilitated workshops with legal and marketing departments to define key requirements, developed AI, wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and a scalable design system, and collaborated closely with product owners, developers, and legal experts. Tasked with simplifying cross-border real estate transactions, my work contributed to reducing onboarding time by minutes and increasing virtual tour scheduling.

Research
and Analysis
Methodology Alignment
We followed a hybrid methodology combining Design Thinking and Double Diamond frameworks to ensure alignment between user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
Design Thinking
- Empathize : User interviews, surveys, and competitive benchmarking
- Define : Pain points mapping, persona development, and opportunity framing
- Ideate : Brainstorming sessions, journey mapping, and concept validation
- Prototype & Test : Iterative prototyping and usability testing
Double Diamond
- Discover → Define → Develop → Deliver
- Each phase included stakeholder reviews, user feedback loops, and data-informed decisions
Market & Competitor Analysis
We analyzed platforms like Pacaso, Sotheby’s International Realty, Roofstock, and James Edition to identify industry trends and gaps in the market.
Key Findings:
- Most platforms focused on aesthetics over functional clarity
- Complex legal processes created user anxiety
- Limited support for cross-border transactions
- Rising demand for remote property management and digital nomad lifestyles
These insights helped us prioritize transparency, security, and ease of use in our design.
User Research
We conducted 15 in-depth interviews, collected 60 survey responses, and ran three rounds of usability testing.
Insights:
- Legal complexity is the biggest source of friction in international real estate
- Users want clear progress indicators and visual guidance during transactions
- Demand for remote property tours and digital document signing is growing rapidly

Strategy
and Planning
Brand Definition
Mission: Empower people to live anywhere they want.
Vision: Create a world where property ownership transcends borders.
Values: Trust, Simplicity, Transparency, Empowerment
This brand foundation guided every aspect of our visual and interaction design.
User Journeys & Flows
We mapped key user journeys to simplify the international real estate transaction process. These flows incorporated smart property discovery, virtual tours, guided legal documents, secure international payments, and blockchain-powered deed verification.
Each step was designed to reduce cognitive load and increase trust through transparency and progress visibility.

Pain Point:
As a foreign investor, I’m constantly worried about hidden fees, uncertainty about my investment’s capital gains, lacking real-time transaction status and instant document approval. What a headache!
Information Architecture
Our IA was built around a dual-path structure to separate core transaction flows from support services. This reduced legal anxiety and allowed progressive disclosure of complex content.
We prioritized scalability to support future expansion into new markets while maintaining a consistent user experience.
Design
and Prototypes
Wireframes & Concepts
- We started with low-fidelity wireframes to explore navigation patterns, layout structures, and task flows. These were tested early and often to validate assumptions before investing in high-fidelity work.
- Iterative improvements focused on simplifying complex interactions, such as legal disclosures and international payment steps.
Interactive Prototypes
- High-fidelity prototypes were developed for both mobile and desktop experiences. These included interactive elements like property tours, document uploads, and secure payment flows.
- Smooth animations and micro-interactions enhanced the perception of speed and responsiveness without compromising accessibility.
Visual Exploration
- Visual design evolved through several iterations, balancing brand identity with usability. We explored color schemes, typography pairings, and layout hierarchies to find a balance between luxury and clarity.
- Final choices emphasized legibility, scalability, and emotional connection with global audiences.

Visual Identity
& UI Design
Logo & Branding
Logo :
- A stylized globe integrated with a location pin, representing global mobility and property ownership.
Color Palette :
- Deep Blue (#1648BE): Trust
- Gray (#F7FAFC): Clarity
- Blue Nolab (#286BF4): Prestige
Typography :
- Montserrat (Headlines)
- Open Sans (Body text)
Design System & UI Components
- We built a robust design system using reusable components like buttons, inputs, cards, modals, and navigation bars.
- Design tokens ensured consistency across spacing, colors, and typography. All components were fully responsive and WCAG 2.1 compliant for accessibility.
Final UI Screens
Selected UI screens showcase the final interface across key user flows:
- Homepage with hero section and featured properties
- Property listings with advanced filters
- Property detail page with virtual tour and legal previews
- User dashboard with transaction tracker and message center
Each screen was optimized for clarity, efficiency, and emotional appeal.
